SMU’s commercial and industrial customers are urged to attend the upcoming Motor Systems Management Workshop on Thursday, July 7th from 8:00am to 12:30pm. The event will be held at Clay County Regional Events Center, 800 West 18th Street in Spencer.

SMU electric customers who heat with electricity have been challenged to participate in a contest to see who can save the most energy. The SMU Neg-A-Watt Challenge is a customer contest designed to show significant energy savings can be achieved by improving your home’s energy performance and by changing energy usage habits by occupants.

SMU’s customers are urged to attend the upcoming Community Energy and Resource Fair on Friday, April 29th from 5pm to 9pm and Saturday, April 30th from 10am to 6pm. The event will be held at Clay County Regional Events Center, 800 West 18th Street in Spencer.

Twins fans will now get the entire season on Spencer Municipal Utilities (SMU) cable beginning with the 2011 season. SMU will offer all Twins games on Fox Sports North (FSN), channel 37 and in HD on channel 237 for Spencer subscribers.
