CONFERENCE CALLING
Existing SMU telephone customers will receive the same long distance rates as they receive for regular toll and 800 calls. Non-SMU telephone customers will be charged a $5.00/conference fee in addition to long distance charges at 10¢/minute for toll calls and 20¢/minute for 800 calls.

GS: GENERAL SERVICE ELECTRIC
All Kilowatt Hours (Energy Cost Adjustment applies) = $0.0708 per kWh
Meter Charge = $20.00
SCI: SMALL COMMERICAL / INDUSTRIAL ELECTRIC SERVICE
Demand Charge (All Kilowatts) = $9.15 per kW
Energy Charge (All Kilowatt Hours) = $0.041 per kWh
Meter Charge = $30.00
State sales and local option sales taxes will be added to the rate to comply with the provisions of the Code of Iowa. Minimum billing shall not be less than 50% of the maximum demand charges during the previous twelve (12) months.
LCI: LARGE COMMERCIAL / INDUSTRIAL ELECTRIC SERVICE
Demand Charge (All Kilowatts) = $10.25 per kW
Energy Charge (All Kilowatt Hours) = $0.0375 per kWh
Meter Charge = $35.00

IR: Interruptible Rate
As approved by contract between SMU and customer.
Energy Cost Adjustment (ECA)
An Energy Cost Adjustment (ECA) will be calculated monthly on all energy usage (kWh’s) for all customer classes. The ECA is based on a rolling 12-month average of SMU’s cost for purchased power.
