DRINKING WATER ADVISORY UPDATE
The Spencer Municipal Utilities Public Water Supply did not turn off water service as part of the repair today, Monday, July 17 2023 and a drinking water advisory to boil the water before using for drinking or to use an alternative source is no longer needed.

The system has been repaired without disrupting water service and therefore a drinking water advisory was not needed and the water is safe to use.
The system has notified the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and been in full compliance with all accepted standards.
