SMU internet customers with an @smunet.net email address(es) are transitioning to a new email provider. As of June 1, 2021 SMU will no longer be providing email delivery to customers. SMU has made the decision not to continue due to the decrease in demand for local email addresses and the cost involved with providing them. Our internet service will continue and works with many email providers.
If customers need assistance in starting the process of converting to a new email address, we’ve created this checklist to help.
