Operations Customer Service Member
Spencer Municipal Utilities has an opening for a full-time Operations Customer Service Member. This position is expected to operate and maintain the control center, provide 24/7 customer service support for our Electric, Water, and Communications utilities and dispatch crews. The position will also assist with building and grounds maintenance and custodial work.
Qualified candidates must be 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED; one (1) to two (2) years of Customer Service experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid IA Drivers License or the ability to obtain one. To perform this job successfully a qualified individual should have knowledge in Microsoft Office products (Office, Word, Excel) or the ability to learn. This position works 12 hour alternating shifts which will include overnight & weekend hours.
