Spencer Municipal Utilities is set to begin an estimated $2 million project to expand providing fiber to the home communication services beginning in the summer of 2013.

SMU USED EMERGENCY WATER SUPPLY DISCHARGE
Spencer Municipal Utilities was forced to use an emergency water supply discharge to Stolley Pond for a plant upset for approximately three hours May 18th causing a small amount of lime to be discharged.
