SMU's long distance rates are simple and affordable. Residential customers can choose from two, easy-to-understand plans...

1) 12 cents a minute anytime, anywhere in the continental US, with no monthly charge
or
2) 10 cents a minute, anywhere in the continental US, with a $3.00 monthly charge

Business customer receive a flat rate of 7 cents a minute for all calls in the continental US, with no monthly charge.

OneWire™ Unlimited Combo
SMU's OneWire Unlimited Combo includes all of your communications services for one, low, dependable rate. Get expanded basic cable TV, Broadband 6.0 high-speed Internet, local telephone, unlimited standard calling features, and unlimited domestic long distance (USA and Canada) for just $87.00 a month!

International Long Distance
SMU offers competitive rates to all international calling destinations.

Dialing Instructions: To make a direct-dial call to an international destination:

1) Dial 011
2) Dial the country code of the country you are calling
3) Dial the destination or city code of the exact location you are calling (if none, skip this step)
4) Dial the phone number.

EXAMPLE: To dial a person who lives in Delhi, India, you would dial 011+ 091 (country code) + 11 (destination code) + phone number.
