Last year SMU gave customers a couple experiences with being able to watch TV programming anywhere
they go on their internet ready devices. We are excited to announce we are expanding those capabilities!
TV Everywhere is a generic term used for the process by which a programming network makes its live feed and on-demand programming available to paying cable subscribers through Internet streaming.
Customers who already experienced this with SMU for the Olympics or BTN, will need to set up a new
username or password. All cable customers who want to experience TV Everywhere with SMU will need to
register to get set up on the new system. Some of the networks currently included are: History,
H2, Galaxie, Lifetime, and A&E. As more become available, they will be added to the list.
For more information on the process to register, visit the watchtveverywhere.com website (you can find the
link on the cable page of the SMU website). When registering for the first time, you’ll need your SMU
Communication’s Account number without any leading zeros. Once the main account is set up, you’ll be able
to add up to three additional accounts under the main account holder.
