Spencer Municipal Utilities is seeking to hire an Operations Supervisor
Duties include:
Maintaining and operating substations, jet turbine, control center, operations office, building and grounds, vehicles and equipment as necessary for the efficient and reliable operations of the electrical system and other utility functions.

Ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Five (5) years of experience with an electric utility required; Two (2) to four (4) years of electronics training desired; water & communication experience a plus. To perform this job successfully, an individual should be competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access), SCADA and CAD or the ability to learn. Post-offer drug test required. Ideal applicant should be competent in addressing customer needs on multiple levels of communication. Knowledge on how to install, maintain, troubleshoot home networks & ability to learn how to configure new devices commonly added into the home network. Qualified candidate must have High School Diploma or GED; 2 years certificate from college or technical school preferred; 1 to 3 years Customer Service experience is a plus.
