Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between standard definition and high definition (HD)?

The primary difference between standard definition and high definition is the number of pixels per inch on the screen.

Do I need a high definition television to get HD programming?

In order to view HD programming, you do need to have an HD television. Even if you put a box on your non-HD TV that provides HD programming, you won’t be able to get the full benefit without an HD TV.
